Daisy’s Story

Daisy, a 9 year old girl wearing a blue top and sitting on a large wooden log with a brown dog

Daisy was diagnosed at 21 months, after sudden onset of seizures at 10 months, followed by various genetic testing.
Her tonic clinic seizures have been controlled since we left hospital 9 days after seizures began. She takes anti seizure and sleep medication as her parents noticed a connection between absence seizures and tiredness.
Daisy is 9 years old and currently attends mainstream school, although she does have an academic delay. She speaks in line with other children her age, and is fully physically able.
Daisy is the 4th of 5 girls, and her sisters are her biggest cheerleaders and supporters. She absolutely loves dogs and horses!!
